The outsole of Espadrilles are made with vulcanized rubber and jute soles. The outsole is stitched with colorful upper fabric to make the complete Espadrilles. The majority portion of Espadrilles accomplish with the labor of Artisans.

To create a rubber outsole on a mill, first a raw polymer, or base polymer, is needed. The polymer can be a number of things, including natural rubber, such as of SMR CV, SMR 20, SMR L or a variety of synthetic rubbers such as nitrile(NBR) , ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), butyl, polychloroprene (CR), Polyisoprene (IR) and others.
